Like many of you, I was lucky enough to know, work with, and learn from Kevin Barry. He was a warrior for justice with a fighting spirit and a keen sense of right and wrong. The amount that he accomplished, including his military justice reform work through the ABA, was impressive. And he was ALWAYS immaculately attired.

Kevin succumbed to cancer. But given his refusal to allow cancer to stop him over the last 12 years, I’d say that he beat cancer rather than it beating him.

We’ve lost someone very special.
