An interesting report, available here, on the Sgt. Russell case was released today by MNC-I. Sgt. Russell, if you don’t recall, is accused of shooting and killing five service members at a combat stress clinic at Camp Liberty, Baghdad in May 2009. Russell is charged with five counts of murder and one count of aggravated assault. The heavily redacted report is 325 pages long and has some interesting observations about training and leadership.
