Slight inaccuracy in the Vanderbilt press release:
The court’s decisions are appealable to the U.S. Supreme Court.
That would all depend on who you ask, I guess.
Interesting there is no case caption or summary or identification of who will argue for the appellant.
None of appellant’s counsel went to Vanderbilt so they don’t count.
Captain Marla Gillman argued on behalf of appellant (not a Vandy alum and therefore not plugged by Vandy).

Appellant was convicted of possessing child pornography, and the issue had to do with the scope of the marital communications privilege under M.R.E. 504(b).
