The Army JAG labled any Army JAG going into the Newly Created AF as "traitors". Thanks for the info on US v. Reynolds....an interesting read. If he was the only 1-star JAG in the Marine Corps, then a colonel would have to jump grades to the new SJA rank. The jump from 1-star to 3-star recently occurred in the Army JAG Corps also. Once the decision was made that the AF DJAG was not going to be nominated as the TJAG, someone (in this case Brig Gen Harding) would have to skip a grade to become TJAG. JWS,
