White House Press Secretary tells CNSNews President won’t intervene in SEALs cases

CNSNews is reporting here that White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs “said the president would not get involved” in the ongoing prosecution of three Navy SEALs arising from the aftermath of their capture of  Ahmed Hashim Abed, who is believed to be behind the abduction and brutal murder of four Blackwater contractors in Fallujah in 2004. 

CNSNews reports:

“I don’t think the president should get involved in legal cases like this,” Gibbs told CNSNews.com. “If you are looking for comment, I think either the Pentagon or the Department of Justice is a good place.”
