Farewell, LEXIS
I’ve enjoyed the reprieve of LEXIS’s death sentence. But, alas, LEXIS’s time has come. We’re advised by a good friend of CAAFlog that the Government Accountability Office has denied the protest filed by LexisNexis regarding the Air Force’s award of a contract to WESTLAW as its electronic research provider. We understand that we’ll lose LEXIS effective 10 January 2010.
I know it’s hard to change but I think you’ll enjoy Westlaw.
Congrats on moving to Westlaw. At least you should find the separate concurring and dissenting opinions as well as the majority opinions. However, the the copy/cite feature on LEXIS is much better for citations employing the Bluebook format. You need to convince Westlaw to change.
