Navy JAG decides not to certify Stevenson
The No Man previously discussed NMCCA’s unpublished opinion in Stevenson setting aside the findings and sentence. United States v. Stevenson, No. 200301272 (N-M. Ct. Crim. App. Dec. 10, 2009). We also noted that Code 46 sought an extension of the certification deadline, which CAAF granted. United States v. Stevenson, __ M.J. __, No. 10-5002/NA (C.A.A.F. Dec. 29, 2009). Today’s CAAF daily journal update notes that Code 46 filed a notice that the Judge Advocate General of the Navy won’t file a certificate of review.
