Maybe the Hon. Jeh Johnson could shed some light on how the military commissions somehow don't constitute a blight on military justice writ large...

I'm sorry, but I thought the CAAF Judicial Conference might be related to those who regularly practice before that court, or emerging issues within the military justice system.

While the DoD GC probably qualifies [it would be nice to learn just what these speakers are going to be talking about]; and Togo West might shed some new light on the Fort Hood massacre, there's little relevance imho to the remaining speakers, with due respect to their expertise. While they may have interesting tales to tell, how does this qualify as CLE, or have they dropped that?

CJ McAuliffe was an Army JAG mid '70's and the widower of Chista McAuliffe, the school teacher who died in the Challenger disaster, but I doubt if the federal Court in NH gets many military justice issues.

CAAF needs to get back to basics and its practitioners.

Just my 2 cents.

Hats off to the organizers: this is a star-studded cast. I assume there will also be some meat-and-potatoes military justice discussion.
