The January 2010 edition of the Army Lawyer is now online here. It’s the Administrative & Civil Law issue. Normally I’d care about that about as much as the latest issue of Curling Today, but there’s some interesting material in the January Army Lawyer. Here’s a fun article by MAJ Ann Ching on five “must see” movies for miltiary lawyers. And here’s an article by the impressively prolific CPT Evan R. Seamone on the fair use doctrine’s application to military scholarship. Finally, there’s this article by retired Reserve Colonel Richard L. Huff and Lieutenant Colonel Craig E. Merutka on FOIA access to personal information, which I’m interested in since sometimes use FOIA as a military justice discovery tool.
