Military judge rejects defense request to halt Hennis trial while U.S. district court considers habeas petition
We previously noted that Judge Boyle has ordered additional briefing on Retired Master Sergeant Timothy Hennis’s habeas petition seeking to preclude his capital court-martial. As reported here and here, the military judge today rejected a defense motion to halt the court-martial under Judge Boyle rules on the habeas petition.
