I was saddened to see in ACCA’s McGinnis opinion that ”Judge HAM took final action in this case prior to her permanent change of duty station.”  Fair winds and following seas to Judge Ham the Great!

   and why has this administration had zero effect on making the CCAs less of a rubber stamp?

   I’m going to guess that the administration had one or two things higher than reforming the CCAs on its priority list.

   I also think it’s a tricky matter for politicians to start meddling in the merits of criminal appellate court decisions.
