After the investigating officer appointed to conduct the Article 32 investigation into the Ft. Hood shooting denied the defense motion to delay the hearing again, the injured from the massacre began testifying about their wounding and survival on that day of terror nearly one year ago.

The first to testify was a 20-year Army veteran who described looking into the eyes of the shooter just before bullets ripped through him. A physically imposing man, Sgt Alonzo Lunsford stood to his full height as he identified the accused, Army Major (Dr.) Nidal Hasan, as the perpetrator.
