Here is a story out of St. Petersburg about alleged–well not alleged, as several members were convicted at courts-martial, including a Chief Petty Officer. The cases involved alleged hazing and were investigated over the last 2 years. No description of the alleged acts. Whether one is a fan or not of “workplace” horseplay in the military, this should clarify that a certain line shouldn’t be crossed lest you end up a registered sex offender.

“Sexual overtones” might be a little strong. I’d describe it more as “locker room shenanigans.”

The Chief had to register as a sex offender. I’d say “sexual overtones” was a relatively forgiving.

Public urination will get you registered in something like 17 states. The Chief also received no punishment from the members.
