On Monday, the Hawai’i Supreme Court issued this order denying Mr. Partington’s motion for reconsideration and to stay all proceedings.
There were no filings in or rulings by the United States District Court for the District of Columbia today. So it appears that by its own terms, the stay of Mr. Partington’s suspension by the Judge Advocate General of the Navy will end at 1530 tomorrow and he will once again be suspended from practicing in naval courts. And his suspension by Hawai‘i will kick in again after Saturday.
A hearing on Mr. Partington’s motion for a preliminary injunction is scheduled for 1000 on 29 December. If that date doesn’t move, I’ll probably take a vacation day from work and go watch it.
