NPR is reporting that:  (well actually it’s getting around.)  An investigating officer has recommended that Army private Bradley Manning face court martial on multiple criminal charges related to the downloading of nearly 1 million war logs and secret diplomatic cables. Manning is accused of taking the files and them passing them on to Wiki____s.

This is unsurprising.  It will be interesting though to see what he has recommended as to the charges themselves.

Mr. Coombs notes on his website that on 12 January 2012, they filed a deposition request.  This is a necessary step to preserve the issue of denied witnesses at the Article 32, UCMJ, hearing
