The February 2012 edition of the Army Lawyer is now online here, with much of interest for we military justice wonks.  First is this Lore of the Corps essay by Fred Borch about a West Viriginia military commission prosecution of Mother Jones.  Then comes an article by LTC Eric Carpenter — certainly one of the leading thinkers about court-martial members issues — called, “Rethinking Voir Dire.”  The issue also includes an article by MAJ Scott A. McDonald called, “Follow the Money:  Obtaining and Using Financial Information in Military Criminal Investigations and Prosecutions.”
