I am very pleased to see this step by the media to obtain openess in courts-martial filings.  This should resolve the questions left unresolved after ABC, Inc. v. Powell and should result in the requirement that the Government make presumptively public court documents available in courts-martials.  Sunshine disinfects . . . .   It may also have the effect of embarrassing the Government and some of its agents and employees, but that is the cost of living in a democracy.
