Here’s an article by Michael Doyle of McClatchy dealing with the Air Force appellate delay issue we’ve been discussing.

Personnel turnover? Whose fault is that??? Doesn’t wash, but sounds good. All someone would have had to do was to issue a directive that ALL personnel actions for AF CCA Judges are hereby “suspended” until the “backlog” is eliminated, would’ve fixed the problem – retirements, PCS’s, awards, decorations, etc. But then again, that presupposes that anyone really cares.
