The Marine Corps Times recently ran an article on the year-old Marine Corps Defense Services Organization, whose creation helped to reduce conflict of interest issues in the representation of Marines, provide greater operational control of defense counsel within a defense leadership chain, and enhance the quality of representation of Marines (and sometimes Sailors and even members of non-naval services through IMC requests) in court-martial and administration discharge proceedings. Gidget Fuentes wrote the article.
