United States.There are now two active petitions for certiorari in a military justice case: Easton v. United States, No. 12-210 (pending action on the SG’s response in opposition to the petition), and Ali v. United States, No. __-____ (not yet updated on the Court’s website).

    Brown v. Gray, a military habeas appeal is on the Court’s conference list for 4 Jan 13.  Brown was an AF JAG Captain convicted to attempting to murder his wife via a hit-man.

    With the USDB in the 10th Circuit, it’s probably a good idea to check the appeals coming from there.  The case of Gray v. Gray/Belcher will surely percolate back up at some point.
